Then you're the new SOC analyst we're looking for!

What You’ll Be Doing

As a SOC Analyst at defenced, no two days are the same. One day you’ll be analyzing cyber threats within the complex IT or (i)OT landscape of a client, while the next you might be engaged in threat hunting across the entire infrastructure of another client—perhaps even observing over a cup of coffee as you look over a hacker’s shoulder.

Your Skillset

  • Completed bachelor’s or academic degree

  • Proven experience (>5 years) as a SOC Analyst

  • Experience with SIEM/XDR tools

  • Experience with scripting, automation, and creating (complex) queries

  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols and network security technologies

  • Certifications such as GSOC, GMON, GCIA, and GOSI (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain them

  • Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently

  • Customer-oriented with strong communication skills

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

Our SOC monitors client environments 24/7, so you’ll occasionally work shifts outside regular office hours.
